Our history to remember not to forget. A title, a project with the aim of representing the traces of our ancestors left in Italy. This series originates from the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. I chose to represent some portraits or faces of sculptures that are part of the Farnese collection. These are archaeological finds from the Roman period. Attention to the faces seemed to me the most appropriate to highlight the facial features, expressiveness and even the charm of our ancestors. Observed with respect and even lightly. For this reason the choice to use the exposure at high key both when I took the picture and in the post-production. An expressive choice for a delicate representation and at the same time leaving the observer greater freedom of investigation, of imagination, of reconstruction.
